Training: Naturalization for Low-Income and Disabled Green Card Holders

NYLAG is providing a training on " Naturalization for Low-Income and Disabled Green Card Holders". The training will review the following:

  • Review benefits of obtaining citizenship and process of naturalizing

  • Identify when a lawful permanent resident (LPR) can begin the process of naturalizing

  • Discuss the barriers for LPRs who are disabled or residing in a care facility

  • Provide tools to assist LPRs in obtaining exemptions to the naturalization English and Civics Test

The intended audience for this training is: Case/Care Manager or Coordinators, Community Health Worker/Patient Navigators, Social Worker, Clinicians - RN, MD, etc., and Program Coordinators/Managers. Other roles are of course welcome to attend!
