Please join Julia Di Giacomo, DSW(c), LCSW, SIFU, EMDR therapist, in this 2-hour training, which aims to inform how to apply trauma-informed principles to case management services to improve the outcomes of service delivery. This training will provide examples of core case management functions through case conceptualization and case vignettes and will allow participants to identify and practice applying trauma-informed principles and approaches as opposed to trauma-reactive responses. The participants will also be provided opportunities to explore effective communication techniques and grounding techniques, emotional regulation skills, and how to implement professional boundaries in order to enhance their adaptability and resilience in their case management practice.
